ColorDoReMi Terms of Use and Subscription

1. Service and acceptance

ColorDoReMi provides viewing and playing of a fixed eight-note color score, manual creation, local MusicXML/MIDI import, editing, PDF export and optional cloud AI drafting. The built-in demonstration can be played in full for free; personal score features require an active Basic membership.

By downloading, opening or continuing to use the app, you accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. This does not replace the separate notice and explicit confirmation required for each cloud-AI submission.

2. Basic monthly membership

• The subscription period is one month. The final price and currency are those shown in the App Store purchase sheet.
• Each Apple-verified subscription period includes 20 successful AI creations. Credits reset on the verified store period, not on a calendar month.
• Creating from scratch and local MusicXML/MIDI import use no AI credits, but opening, editing, listening to, playing and exporting personal scores as PDF require active Basic.
• When Basic expires, projects are not automatically deleted. The app shows only a minimal list and deletion control; score contents unlock again after renewal or verified restoration if they remain on the device.

3. Automatic renewal and management

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm purchase. Basic renews automatically unless you cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings before renewal, in accordance with the timing and price shown by Apple.

Restore Purchases asks Apple for eligible purchases and sends transaction evidence for server verification. It restores membership entitlement only; it cannot restore local scores lost through deletion, uninstalling, device loss or changing devices.

4. AI credits and extra purchases

One credit is settled only when a task successfully produces an editable score. Validation errors, service failures, failed or cancelled tasks do not consume a credit. If the score succeeds but an optional cover fails, one credit is still consumed.

When Basic is active and both included and previously purchased credits are exhausted, you may actively buy one extra AI creation at the price shown by the App Store. The app never charges automatically for overage. This is a consumable purchase; Apple does not restore consumed items, while ColorDoReMi records unused balance after verifying the transaction.

5. Local data and installation-scoped cloud copy

No registration is required. The immediate source of truth for personal scores is the local database on the current device. Creating or editing a project automatically stores its latest cloud copy for this installation. Scores that existed before this policy are not bulk-uploaded and upload only after their next edit. The copy does not promise account-based sync, version history, conflict merging or disaster recovery.

ColorDoReMi does not sell or publish personal scores or disclose score content to unrelated third parties. Contracted cloud infrastructure acts only on our instructions for private storage, security and operations. In Local Data you may delete all cloud copies or delete the anonymous cloud account and associated data. Deleting copies does not disable future storage; a later creation or edit stores a new latest copy.

Deleting the anonymous cloud account does not delete local scores or cancel an Apple subscription; using a server feature again may create a new random installation identity. Manage local projects and Apple subscriptions separately.

6. Your content and rights

You may upload, record, import or process only content you created, are authorised to use, is in the public domain or that you otherwise have a lawful basis to process. Being able to stream, preview or buy music does not itself grant rights to upload, copy, arrange, transcribe, perform publicly, distribute or use it commercially.

ColorDoReMi is not a public score library and its results are not official scores. You are responsible for the legality of inputs and outputs. Delete the task and contact support if you identify a rights issue.

7. AI drafts and acceptable use

Results from mixed audio, humming or text may contain wrong notes, timing errors, omissions or similarities. Listen and review before teaching, performing, exporting PDF or publishing. Do not share purchases, generate in bulk for others, evade limits, attack the service or process unlawful content.

8. Children and guardians

Children must use cloud features with a parent or guardian where applicable law requires it. The guardian should decide on purchases, uploads and data processing. Children should not provide names, school details, contact information or other information unrelated to creating a score.

9. Apple terms and refunds

Apple processes purchases, refunds and subscription management under its rules.

These terms supplement Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA). If terms conflict, mandatory law and the rule providing greater consumer protection apply.

10. Changes, availability and contact

We may adjust features for security, compliance or quality, but will not replace Apple verification with a client-reported transaction or automatically buy extra credits. Cloud AI, storage and network services may be temporarily unavailable; you are responsible for safeguarding local data.
